1968. Based on his research, he was convinced that taking high doses of vitamins could maintain health and prevent illness. In 1971, he published his book \"Vitamin C, colds and flu\". In addition to other micronutrients, he himself consumed 12 grams of vitamin C a day, which is equivalent to the content of over 300 oranges. Since then, orthomolecular therapy has also become established in Europe, with the Burgerstein preparations being particularly well known throughout Switzerland.<\/p><p><strong>Basics<\/strong><br \/>Many biological substances such as vitamins and minerals,<br \/>Trace elements or amino acids are responsible for maintaining the body's biological functions.
