Das Thema Ernährung liegt uns besonders am Herzen. Mit kaum einem anderen Bereich kann man so viel ausgleichen und korrigieren wie bei einer stoffwechselregulierten Ernährung – denn sie ist gleichermaßen Therapie und Prävention.

Durch unsere Arbeit versuchen wir einen Leitfaden zu schaffen, der viele Facetten unserer Ernährung beleuchtet und vor allem eine transparente, leicht verständliche Anleitung liefert, die Ernährungsgewohnheiten dauerhaft zum Positiven zu verändern.

Every day we receive messages about what is supposed to be healthy and how to lose weight. Which foods are healthy and which are not? There is a lot of uncertainty, if you believe the media. Do you know the difference between foods with a high nutrient density and foods with a minimal nutrient density, so-called empty calories? Which type keeps us fit and alert?

Nutrition according to metabolic type is based on the knowledge that different metabolic types have developed over the course of evolution. Not every food suits all people equally well - this essentially depends on which metabolic type they belong to.

Our metabolism has not yet adapted to our current oversupply of food - nature needs time. The problem is that we cannot change our genetically outdated metabolism. This leaves us with only one option: we have to adapt our eating habits and lifestyle to the metabolic type to which we belong.

Nutrients are various organic and inorganic substances and are absorbed as components of food and processed in the metabolism. They create the basis for a healthy life and are regularly needed in a balanced way. Nutrients provide the body with the energy it constantly needs (protein, fat, carbohydrates) or are important for metabolic processes in the body (vitamins, minerals, trace elements). 

These also include enzymes, amino acids and some others, e.g. secondary plant substances. All processes in the body depend on nutrients: growth and maintenance, the function of all organs and the regular formation and breakdown of cells and tissues. Water is essential for life, but is not considered a nutrient in the narrower sense.

The aim is to create a good basis of nutrient-rich foods - our cells receive nourishment and our metabolism can function properly. But enjoyment should not be missing either. Find the balance without starving and without dieting.
